The mission of UCP of Greater Cleveland is to empower children and adults with disabilities, advancing their independence, productivity, and inclusion in the community. It envisions becoming the premier provider of lifespan services to individuals with disabilities, offering them equal opportunities in daily living, work, and community settings. Annually, UCP of Greater Cleveland serves over 1,500 children and adults. Initially focused solely on children with cerebral palsy, it has expanded to become a support network for people with a broad spectrum of disabilities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Services<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Skilled Therapy Services<\/strong> include outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies. These therapies are also offered in a short-term, intensive intervention model called Steps to Independence\u00ae.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Educational Services<\/strong> at UCP encompass a wide array of offerings, such as Alternative Education Programs, Extended School Year services, compensatory services, contracted related services, Independent Education Evaluations, Assistive Technology Evaluations, and intensive direct and training services for students with complex learning needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Case Management:<\/strong> UCP serves infants and children up to 22 years old who have various developmental delays and disabilities. By implementing a sliding fee scale based on income, UCP ensures its children’s programs are accessible to families across all economic backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
