A tragedy occurred on Ohio Interstate 75 on a recent Wednesday morning. Several vehicles were involved in the incident. The crash proved fatal for one man and another suffered injuries. Motor vehicle accidents such as this one sometimes result in charges being filed against one or more of the parties involved. In this case, reports indicate that charges are pending against the driver of a truck.<\/p>\n
A 41-year-old man was sitting behind the wheel of his car which had become disabled from a tire gone flat. The man\u2019s vehicle was pulled over in the emergency stopping lane. The truck reportedly came speeding through the emergency lane and struck the man\u2019s stopped automobile.<\/p>\n
Sadly, the man in the disabled car was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The 54-year-old man who was driving the truck was injured and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Reports indicate that his injuries were not life-threatening. A lieutenant involved in the police investigation of the crash said that it appears that the truck that struck the car had just been involved in another collision, moments earlier, on the same road.\u00a0 Police say that speed was a leading factor in the cause of the accident that killed the 41-year-old.<\/p>\n
