As reported by Ohio Capital Journal in their article \u201cMore Black babies die in Ohio before their first birthday when compared white babies,\u201d the infant mortality rate for Black babies in the state of Ohio is over twice as high as the rate for their white counterparts, a trend believed to be driven by biases of medical professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOhio has one of the highest rates of infant mortality in the country, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,\u201d the Ohio Capital Journal said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
