Lawsuit Filed in Fatal Crash Involving Bill Safos
As reported by News 5 Cleveland in the article “Lawsuit filed for crash that killed former broadcast journalist Bill Safos,” a wrongful death lawsuit has been filed in Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas in connection to the tragic crash that claimed the life of Bill Safos, a respected former reporter for WOIO and WKYC.
In early December, Safos was struck and killed by a vehicle while attempting to cross Madison Avenue near Orchard Grove Avenue in Lakewood, reportedly outside of a designated crosswalk. The driver, Zachary Saliba, has since been charged with aggravated vehicular homicide.
