Medical Statute of Repose Applies to Wrongful Death says Ohio Supreme Court
According to the Ohio Bar Liability Insurance Company in their article “Ohio Supreme Court rules that the medical statute of repose applies to wrongful death claims,” the four-year limitations on a wrongful death claim applies.
“Ultimately, however, the Court has determined that the four-year statute of repose set forth under the medical negligence statute applies to wrongful death claims where the alleged cause of death is medical malpractice,” the Ohio Bar Liability Insurance Company said.
