As reported by Cleveland.com in their article “Hold that text: After new Ohio law, distracted driving-related crashes down a third (and tickets are skyrocketing),” while there has been a decrease in traffic related deaths, there has been an increase in traffic tickets.
“Ohio vehicle crashes in which distracted driving was a factor plummeted 33% for the first three months this year, compared to the same time in 2023,” Cleveland.com said.
