Traffic Deaths in Ohio Up Compared to 10 Years Ago
According to the Ohio Capital Journal in their article “Ohio traffic deaths up compared to ten years ago despite recent declines,” while there has been an overall decline in traffic deaths in recent years, it is important to note that the number of deaths is still high when compared to data from a decade ago.
“The transportation research nonprofit found that in the 10 years between 2013 and 2023, traffic fatalities have jumped substantially nationwide. But zeroing in on the past three, deaths have begun to decline from their peak during the COVID-19 pandemic,” Ohio Capital Journal said.
